Living space is important, especially if you suffer from arthritis. One of the best things my husband and I did when we moved into our ranch home was to have handicap toilets installed in all of the bathrooms. When guests come to our house, they often compliment us on our toilets. A regular toilet is approximately 15 inches from the floor. A handicap (or comfort) seat is about 17 inches in height. At first glance, they both look very similar, but for a tall man or a person with hip or knee issues, the 2 inches can make a big difference. By making small adjustments in your home, you can live a happy, healthy life. To learn more arthritis tips, follow me on Twitter @JenniferVido and Instagram @jenvido. (This is not a sponsored post.)
