Book Review: Empty Out The Negative by Joel Osteen
Updated: Nov 12, 2020
Pastor Joel Osteen's positive way of thinking is infectious. So if you're seeking a way to overcome negativity in your life, this book is for you. We all have bad things happen to us. How we face these setbacks is what determines our path forward. It's easy to hold on to resentments. Taking a leap of faith by reprograming our way of thinking will send us in the right direction. The scripture tells us to leave it, so why do we have such trouble listening to God's word? By emptying out the negative, we can be open to the joy God has planned for us. What I like best about Pastor Joel's book is the way he breaks it down into six easy-to-read topics. As he says, we need to get good at hitting the delete button. Tune out the naysayers and believe in what God has entrusted us with, which is extremely valuable. If you're looking for some inspiration to make room for favor and influence in your life, I highly recommend this quick read.
